Toronto-based artist Maya Malkin has just shared her brand new single Goodbye, the latest single to be taken from her eagerly-awaited debut album Congratulations, out now via Garment District Records / Fontana North. 

 

I am a fan of Maya Malkin's sweet, expressive vocals and razor-sharp songwriting that instantly captured my attention from start to finish. I am really enjoying how polished the production is, and how it beautifully accompanies the emotion pouring from her vocals, starting quite smooth and then building up in energy, culminating in a powerful, euphoric chorus. Apart from her vocals, I am particularly fond of the killer beat, cool guitar riffs and lush synths that together create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for a reflective day home alone.
