San Diego-based indie rock band Tuxedo Cake have just shared their brand new single Sand on the Shore, an upbeat track out now on Cake Face Records. 

 

What I like the most about this song is its warmth and confident energy that instantly got me in a good mood and thinking about a carefree weekend ahead. Sand on the Shore is about the impending fear of growing old. It reflects the band's current stage of life as recent college graduates with their whole lives ahead of them and all of the uncertainties that come with that. This relatable message is wrapped around a captivating pop/rock production with lovely vocals, punchy drums and soaring, sun-soaked guitars that together create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for a long drive out in the sun.
