Saffran & Acea Share New Single ‘Go’

London/Stockholm duo Saffran & Acea, consisting of Swedish/Jamaican singer-songwriter Saffran and Swedish producer and songwriter Viktor Hannell-Bonde, have just shared their brand new single Go, a hypnotic alt-pop offering perfect for a chill weekend.

Go instantly creates quite a smooth, soothing atmosphere that I find perfect especially after a long stressful day. This gem delivers dreamy, ethereal ambient synths and widespread glacial soundscapes, combining pop sensibilities with spacey melancholic interludes. Saffran’s heartfelt vocals captivate from the outset with mesmerising lyrics which get under your skin and stay there. Go is a song about the urge we get to want to leave someone or a place, to allow ourselves to move on and grow as individuals. It's a relatable message perfect for introspective days and/or long drives. Check it out below!

Saffran said about the single
`GO` is about feeling the urge to leave a place or person, to be able to grow and get a new perspective on situations. To embrace being uncomfortable, to be able to take the next step in life's journey. I love the straightforward simplicity in this song. And I'm obsessed with the dreamy nostalgic soundscapes Acea has been able to create in the production.
Acea continued to talk about the track sonically
“Go” reminisces feelings and memories of driving in a car alone in the countryside, listening to Kanye West’s influential album “808’s and Heartbreaks”. The sound is timeless yet familiar, nostalgia seeps into every fibre of the song's production.
