I am a fan of townsend's gorgeous, expressive vocals which are packed with raw emotion, instantly connecting us to his storytelling. yours is a song of heartache, trying to get over someone but still having all the good memories spent together replaying in your head, but you finally decide to move on. townsend is a gifted singer and storyteller and I really like how his relatable and effortless storytelling is backed by his gorgeous vocals polished production. Speaking about the song, townsend said,
I wrote and produced this over the course of a few months while I was trying to get past someone. Obviously its never easy but it always hurts a little more when you have lots of good memories that replay in your head. It's more of an internal letter to them and how I'm making the decision to finally move on.
