Rebounder Share New Single ‘Boy Friday’

New York City-based indie rock outfit Rebounder have just shared their brand new single Boy Friday, the latest song taken from their upcoming self-produced project.

What I liike the most about this song is its warmth and chill vibes that instantly got me in a good mood. Boy Friday is a groovy piece of music that explores the passing of time and the ebb and flow of changes that shape our lives. The vocal delivery is quite effortless, beautifully conveying the emotion of their storytelling while soaring over the polished French-inspired indie-rock production. I am particularly fond of the funk-drenched basslines, groovy guitars, bright, breezy synths and intoxicatingly lush melodies that effortlessly create a dreamy, feel-good atmosphere perfect for an introspective summer's day.

Accompanying the release, Rebounder have shared its nostalgic lofi video directed by Ben Klein (Sundance 2022 winner) that features Dylan and Noah of the band being “New Yorkers lost in an LA Dreamland,” says Dylan, and where Chris Black (How Long Gone Podcast) is their “great LA spiritual tour guide.” Check it out below!
