UK Independent producer, singer, and songwriter Maya Yenn has just shared her brand new single Better Luck Next Time, a catchy electro-pop song that examine's humankind’s self-destructive behaviour. I am really enjoying her vocal delivery which has some breathy touches that remind me a bit of Billie Eilish. 

 

Better Luck Next Time is written from the perspective of a young man who has prioritised his career above everything else, so much so, he’s still trying to get a report out while his plane is going down. This disturbing analogy for for humankind’s self-destructive behaviour is wrapped around a captivating blend of left-field pop production with cool electronic rhythms and bass that create an overall buoyant, playful atmosphere.
