RVBY Shares New Single ‘Don’t Go Yet’
RVBY, the moniker of Bristol-based alt-pop singer and songwriter Ruby Donadel, has just shared her brand new single Don't Go Yet, a bright and upbeat piece of indie-pop music.
I am really enjoying RVBY's expressive vocals and how they have somewhat of a classic and delicate touch that makes the song stand out even more. Don't Go Yet is a song about idealising the perfect relationship with someone you are in awe of and is wrapped around a warm and upbeat indie/alt-pop production packed with lush horns that are nicely intertwined with cool guitar riffs, delicate piano chords and steady percussion that create the perfect soundscape for RVBY's vocals to soar. Speaking about the new single RVBY said,
I was really in this seventh heaven when we wrote 'Don’t Go Yet'. The lyrics are about this perfect idealisation of being with someone you are in awe of. There’s only a glimmer of blue-toned reality in there but it’s not all sad, it’s life and it’s a beautiful thing to write about someone who probably has no idea, it’s about them at all! This song is simply my soul in the form of music and it’s my favourite release to date!
