German singer and songwriter Might be Vero has just shared her brand new single Mr. Harvestman, a captivating indie-pop song out now via Mosaik Records.
I am loving how smooth and expressive Might be Vero's vocals are, soaring effortlessly over the intricate guitar riffs. Mr. Harvestman is a song about a man she used to see wandering the streets of Freiburg, being fascinated by his look and the atmosphere he brought. This message is beautifully wrapped around a polished production that features gorgeous guitar plucks throughout the song which are seamlessly intertwined with interesting rhythmical patterns and percussive elements that create an overall melancholia-infused, laid-back atmosphere for her gorgeous vocals and harmonies to soar.
Accompanying the release, Might Be Vero has shared its official music video that was filmed in Berlin with the amazing actor Christoff Raphaël Mortagne. The interaction of the music and the video creates a very moving atmosphere. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, Might be Vero said,
The Song is about a man that i saw wandering the streets of Freiburg every now and then for the past three years. I’ve never talked to him - his atmosphere, his look and the way he moved just fascinated me. Since I don’t know his real name, I gave him one - Mr. Harvestman.
