Flõstate Share New Single ‘One More Day In Love’
Canadian fantasy R&B duo Flõstate, consisting of producer MKSTN and songwriter, multi-instrumentalist Avery Florence, have just shared their brand new single One More Day In Love, a synth-heavy piece of indie-electronic music out now via Lekker Collective.
Taken from their forthcoming debut album, Moments Of Feeling, One More Day In Love, is a nostalgia-infused piece of music about being alone, with a rush of memories in your mind and gaining clarity in solitude. I am loving Avery Florence's enchanting vocals and dreamy harmonies which glide effortlessly over the hypnotic melodies. Apart from her vocals I do love those lush, expansive synths that give me "Stranger Things" vibes and how they create an overall hazy and nostalgic atmosphere perfect for an introspective day home alone. On the inspiration fo the track, Flõstate adds,
Alone, with only your memories and regrets, vivid in the night. It can be painful when we finally gain clarity on something from within our memory. It’s so clear, the memory of the feeling, and now too, the understanding of what it meant. It lies plainly in front of us, what it could have meant for our present if we had known. It’s so visceral it opens a door flooding in with fantasies; regrets that paralyze you, eyes wide open in the dark.
