22-year-old Nicaraguan-Norwegian Alex & The Alpaca has just shared his brand new single Adorable, a chilled out blend of indie-pop and rock music.
Out now via Dearlion, Adorable is produced, written, and performed by Alex alone which finds the talented artist beautifully showcasing his super smooth vocals, storytelling abilities and memorable producing skills. The whole atmosphere of the song is quite freeing and laid-back, sounding perfect for a relaxing weekend out with friends. Apart from his smooth vocals, I am particularly fond of the intricate guitar riffs which are nicely paired with a trap-inspired beat and cool rhythms that effortlessly create a warm and chilled out atmosphere. The lyrics of ‘Adorable’ are ironic, and the beat has a video-game-like characteristic. To me this gives the song a feeling of being on top of the world and a sense of carelessness, like on the day you finally get over someone.
