Zola Blood Share New Single ‘For the Birds’

London-based trio Zola Blood are back with their brand new single For the Birds, a gorgeous piece of indietronica music out now via 225 Records. 

 

The latest single to be taken from their sophomore album Black Blossom, set to arrive on April 1st, For The Birds is an affecting, emotion-driven piece of electronica that got me hooked right after the very first listen. I am particularly fond of those dreamy, heartfelt vocals which ooze so much heart and soul, instantly connecting us to their storytelling. There's somewhat of a sense of longing and escape that I find quite captivating and the production is absolutely stunning. The heartfelt vocals are nicely backed by warm rhythms nicely paired with glistening synths and restrained breakdowns that create quite an enthralling listening experience. Check it out below!

For The Birds follows last month’s single ‘It Never Goes’, their first release in two years, with both tracks set to feature on Black Blossom. Out 1st April, the LP is an exploration into the pitfalls of the internet - more specifically how social media has become “hugely polarising” and transformed the way we communicate with each other.
