Simen Mitlid Shares New Single ‘Channels’

Norwegian singer-songwriter Simen Mitlid has just shared his brand new single Channels, the third and last single to be taken from his upcoming EP. 

 

Featuring his friends and label mates Benedikt, Channels is a stripped down indie-ballad about the challenges related to changing the channels on your TV and in your mind. I am loving those smooth, evocative vocals which are quite comforting and glide beautifully over the intricate acoustic guitar-based melody. I am also very fond of the backing vocals and subtle beat that enhance the song's warmth and intimate atmosphere. Channels is a dreamy, somewhat melancholic, piece of indie-folk music perfect for a laid-back day at home. Check it out below!
