Speaking about the song, Neil Nayar said,
I wrote the song in January the day after a kiss under the moonlight. I'd spent 8 years in a marriage which wasn't about love. After coming out honestly I'd even forgotten about love so the whole experience knocked me off my feet. I liked how the song felt and just decided to record it with acoustic guitar and voice straight up along with 4 other songs from this transition moment. I'm releasing it on the birthday of the girl I wrote it for along with 30 NFT artworks based around the lyrics.
