Micah Banks, Calabasas & Atom Share New Single ‘Easy’

American songwriter and producer Micah Banks teams up with fellow Americans Calabasas and Atom to deliver Easy, an upbeat electro-pop song. 

 

What I like the most about this song is the dynamic vocal delivery and how their vocals fit nicely together, effortlessly conveying the emotion of their relatable storytelling. Easy is a song about how it's easier to blame the other person than the one you love who caused you pain. When the one you love strays, all that rush of emotions and anger are easier to be directed toward the other person, even though I personally believe all that anger and disappointment should be directed to the one you love. This relatable message is wrapped around a captivating blend of EDM, Pop and Contemporary R&B elements, featuring a catchy driving beat, lush synths, killer bass and warm rhythms that give the song an upbeat, danceable touch that contrasts with the lyrical content.
