Couch Prints Share New Single ‘Horsepower’

New York-based synth-pop trio Couch Prints, consisting of Jayanna Roberts, Brandon Tong, and Jacob Truax, have just shared their brand new single Horsepower, the second single to be lifted from their upcoming 6-track mixtape. 

 

As the title suggests, Horsepower us a song about cars and how there’s a parallel in the way car crashes disrupt so many of our lives at random. This storytelling is beautifully conveyed through Jayanna Roberts's smooth, ethereal-like vocals which glide flawlessly over the intricate electronic production. I am particularly fond of the lush, airy synths that are nicely paired with groovy rhythms and a steady beat that create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for a laid-back weekend. Check it out below!
