Capital Theatre Share New Single ‘Delicately Poised’

New Zealand alternative rock trio Capital Theatre have just shared their brand new single Delicately Poised, the latest single to be taken from their upcoming debut album, A Hero's Journey, set to arrive this summer.

Recorded with Grammy Award-winning legendary producer Mike Clink (Guns N’ Roses, Steve Vai) at NRG Studios in Los Angeles, CA (along with some guitar recordings being completed at Slash’s Snakepit Studio), Delicately Poised beautifully showcase the band's melodic and edgy guitar/keyboard-driven sound which won me over from the start. I am really enjoying the confident vocal delivery which soars beautifully over the energetic alt-rock production packed with soaring guitar riffs nicely paired with punchy drums and cool piano chords that enhance the passion and emotion pouring from those gorgeous vocals. I'm definitely hooked on those soaring guitar riffs and how the song is packed with so much energy and confidence.

Accompanying the release, the band has shared a provocative music video, co-directed the video with Bruno Amaral Pereira and Julie Gomez of Kapala Studios and also by Alex Hargeaves, which underlines the track’s exploration of the human identity. Filmed at an adult entertainment club in Barcelona and with live footage taken in New Zealand, the video highlights authenticity and diversity. Check it out below!
