French band Saults have just shared their brand new single Givin Up, an upbeat, feel-good piece of indie/electro-pop music out now via German Indie powerhouse Swutch Music.
Like its predecessor Stuck In Old Fantasy, Givin Up was produced by Jack Wilson (Fickle Friends) and beautifully showcases the band's slick and fresh sonority. I am really enjoying how their vocals fit perfectly together and how they are packed with so much passion and emotion. Givin Up is a relatable song about trying to make a relationship work but everything keeps falling into pieces. This message is wrapped around an upbeat guitar-driven production that is nicely paired with a catchy beat, creating the perfect background for their dynamic and passionate vocal delivery to soar. What Givin’ Up on Me wants to express is that sort of relationship we’ve all been in, when you try everything to make it work but it keeps falling into pieces no matter what. So there’s only one way to break the cycle of failure: tell your partner to leave you, to set you free, because you can't do it by yourself.
