Pink Lilly Share New Single ‘Onward’
Dutch folk duo Pink Lilly, consisting of songwriters Robin Yzerman & Timo de Jong, have just shared their brand new single Onward, a captivating piece of folk-infused indie-pop music out now via AudioSport Records.
I am loving Robin Yzerman's smooth, expressive vocals which beautifully convey the emotion o their open and honest storytelling. Onward is a song that deals with the delicate beginnings of a new love and is wrapped around a memorable blend of atmospheric folk with a romantic and composed brass section. I am particularly fond of the intricate acoustic guitar riffs throughout the song and how they are nicely paired with lush brass elements and what sounds like subtle banjo plucks that create an overall warm and soothing atmosphere perfect for a relaxing day at home.
