Weston Estate Share New Single ‘Stoked’
North Carolina 5-piece band Weston Estate, made up of Srikar Nanduri (guitar), Manas Panchavati (vocals), Tanmay Joshi (vocals), Abhi Manhass (production, bass), and Marco Luka (vocals), have just shared their brand new single Stoked, a bright, feel-good piece of Lo-Fi/Indie-Pop music, out now via Arista Records.
I am loving the song's upbeat atmosphere and how it has somewhat of a retro, 70s vibe that I find very captivating. I am particularly fond of the groovy guitar strums that are nicely intertwined with a punchy beat, instantly creating an upbeat, feel-good atmosphere for their expressive vocals to soar. We started making this song as a joke after our trip to the mountains. We wanted to make something groovy and light after we made some songs that were more serious. We had too much fun making it, and when we played it back, we realized it was simply too hard to not release. We hope people can throw this song on at a function or in the car and just dance as mindlessly as we were when we made this song.
