Resa Saffa Park Shares New Single ‘Candles’

Following the release of last month's soul-infused track Dandelions, Resa Saffa Park, the moniker of Dubai-born, Oslo-based actress, singer and songwriter Theresa Frostad Eggesbø, is back with her brand new single Candles, a haunting piece of indie-pop music out now via Propeller Recordings. 

 

I am in love with Resa Saffa Park's siren-esque, striking voice which soar effortlessly over the polished production by Lasse Midtsian Nymann. There's somewhat of a melancholic and mysterious atmosphere in the song that instantly won me over, sounding perfect to listen to during those cold, rainy days home alone. Apart from her gorgeous vocals and haunting harmonies, I am particularly fond of the intricate guitar plucks throughout the song and how they are nicely paired with warm atmospherics and lush cello strings that give the song a cinematic touch.
