Meadowlark Share New Single ‘Oxygen’

Following the release of their folk-tinged indie-pop cut Disposable, Bristol-based electro/pop duo Meadowlark, consisting of singer/songwriter Kate McGill and multi-instrumentalist Dan Broadly, are back with yet another gorgeous song titled Oxygen. 

 

Taken from their album Nightstorm, out now via Fries Boom Barrier, Oxygen beautifully showcases the duo's talents to deliver highly addictive pieces of music with honest storytelling. I am a fan of Kate McGill's smooth, ethereal-like vocals which instantly infuse the song with a memorable dose of emotion while also give it a dreamy touch that I find quite captivating. Kate McGill's lovely vocals soar beautifully over infectious melodies packed with gorgeous piano keys, steady percussion and expansive atmospherics that create an overall warm, dreamy atmosphere perfect for a chill, introspective day home alone.
