Following last month's pop gem Counts, New Jersey-based singer and songwriter Sam MacPherson has just shared his brand new single Start, the latest single to be taken from his debut EP, Songs for Sam, out now via Snafu Records.
Like its predecessor, Start beautifully showcases Sam MacPherson's gorgeous, emotive pop vocals and storytelling abilities that are packed with honesty and raw emotion. Start is a song about the moment right before you tell someone you love them. The moment when both know, but no one has said it out loud yet. I am loving the positive, uplifting atmosphere of this song which I can't help but feel happy while listening to it, like I am the one going through it. This love song is wrapped around a catchy pop production with cool guitars nicely paired with steady percussion and subtle synths/strings that create the perfect atmosphere of Sam's stunning vocals to soar.
