NYIKO Shares New Single ‘LA On Fire’

Los Angeles-based crooner and producer NYIKO has just shared his brand new single LA On Fire, out now via Trailing Twelve Records. 

 

Produced by Vaughn Oliver aka U-Tern (Oliver, Kim Petras, Poppy, Chromeo), LA On Fire is a call for climate action and an allegory for fame, artfully juxtaposing the metaphorical flares of opportunity with specters of environmental conflagration, a duality best experienced chasing your dreams in The City of Angels. This message is wrapped around a retro-tinged electronic production packed with vibrant synth work and fluttering rhythmic arpeggiations. Thunderous snare drums, claps, and kicks are met with hues of purple melodies, all of which are beautifully interwoven with NYIKO’s confident vocal delivery. I am particularly fond of the driving beat and bright synths and how the song has an overall feel-good atmosphere. Check it out below!
