Haunted Like Human Share New Single ‘Whistling Tree’

Nashville-based duo Haunted Like Human, consisting of classically trained guitarist Cody Clark and singer/songwriter Dale Chapman, have just shared their brand new single Whistling Tree, a stormy, ominous song full of the joy and danger of forbidden love. 

 

I am loving this gorgeous blend of Bluegrass, Folk, Country and Americana elements that create quite a memorable soundscape that instantly won me over from the start. I am very fond of Dale Chapman's expressive, confident vocals and how they beautifully connect the listener to their relatable storytelling. This story of forbidden love is wrapped around a polished production packed with subtle acoustic guitar melodies that are nicely intertwined with punchy drum beat and lush violin strings. I am also really enjoying the haunting/omminous vibe of the song and how it is packed with heart and soul.
