Jacobs Morgan Shares New Single ‘One Twenty Five’

London-based, multi-disciplinary queer artist Jacobs Morgan has just shared his brand new single One Twenty Five, an electrifying piece of electro-pop music.

Produced by Brooklyn’s Michael Banks (uefo studios), One Twenty Five is a captivating piece of music about being hug up on someone while still trying to have a good night out. I am loving the groove of this song and how effortless and passionate his vocal delivery sounds.

The whole song has a hypnotic and euphoric touch that I think you will love. I am particularly fond of the pulsating drum pads that are nicely paired with a resampled organ which adds an ethreal shimmer to the melody. I am also really enjoying the combination of Jacobs Morgan luscious vocals with spoken word which enhances the song's hypnotic, feel-good atmosphere. One Twenty Five is packed with tons of rhythms and grooves that sound perfect for a late summer sunset party by the beach. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Jacobs Morgan said,

This is a song about those of us who’ve been hung up on fuckboys whilst attempting to have a night out, but it's also a fab groovy bop. We worked really hard on making sure the song feels as if it builds as it goes on, not giving away too much too early, and maintaining the queer vogue-Esque energy which propels it forwards. I wished so badly for us to be together in person, but the situation of the past year didn't allow for it.
