FERGUS Unveils Acoustic Version Of ‘Leave Me Light’

London-based, alt-pop singer/songwriter FERGUS has just shared a stunning acoustic version of his latest single Leave Me Light, a captivating folk-infused indie-pop song out now via Goldun Egg Records. 

Co-produced by FERGUS and Jake Gosling, this stripped-down version delivers a delicate, folk-tinged take on the original and I am loving the way it enhances FERGUS' raw talent via an effortless pitch-perfect vocal and simple melodic guitar turns. I am a fan of his smooth, ethereal-like vocals and this new version really enhances the warmth and emotion pouring from his vocal delivery. ‘Leave Me Light’ chronicles some of the little moments in an early morning routine, as your partner leaves for work. I wrote it when we were just coming out of hibernation and starting to go back to normal life again. Dragging our feet and drawing out our goodbyes, saying “go gently and hurry back soon”.
