FERGUS Unveils New Single ‘Leave Me Light’
London-based, alt-pop singer/songwriter FERGUS has just shared his brand new single Leave Me Light, a captivating folk-infused indie-pop song out now via Goldun Egg Records.
Co-produced by FERGUS and Jake Gosling, Leave Me Light is a song about the little moments in an early morning routine and was written when things were starting to go back to normal life following the lockdowns. I am a fan of his smooth, ethereal-like vocals and how they effortlessly connect the listener to his storytelling. FERGUS's delicate vocals and harmonies infuse the song with a dreamy touch and I love how they glide effortlessly over the intricate acoustic guitar chords. I am also very fond of the electric guitar riffs and steady percussion that add an extra dose of energy to this lovely song that sounds perfect for a laid-back day at home. Check it out below!

‘Leave Me Light’ chronicles some of the little moments in an early morning routine, as your partner leaves for work. I wrote it when we were just coming out of hibernation and starting to go back to normal life again. Dragging our feet and drawing out our goodbyes, saying “go gently and hurry back soon”.
