Following last month's I Used To Be Fun, Canadian singer and songwriter ROYAL has just shared her brand new single Woman, a captivating pop empowerment anthem for all female and female-identifying.

 

I am really enjoying the electronic production of this song which creates somewhat of an airy and atmospheric vibe that allows for ROYAL's gorgeous vocals to soar beautifully and effortlessly convey the emotion of her empowering message. Woman is dedicated to mothers, women in the work force, suffragettes, and anyone who has stood their ground in adversity to fight for their right for equality. There's somewhat of a retro vibe that I sense in this song which can be due to those lush synths and gorgeous percussion. The chorus is perfect to sing along to and the song has an overall feel-good atmosphere perfect for a fun weekend!
