joan, the critically acclaimed Arkansas duo consisting of Alan Benjamin Thomas and Steven Rutherford, have just shred their brand new single so good, their first offering of 2021 out now via Photo Finish Records.
The first listen from one of two EP’s set to hit together this coming December, so good is an infectious pop song about being around someone that makes you feel so good you wish they have been there your whole life. It's a song about hoping to have someone like that soon, someone who makes your life better and happier. This message is wrapped around memorable pop melodies with sweetest hint of 90’s R&B influences. I am particularly fond of those lush, smooth vocals, gorgeous guitars and overall feel-good atmosphere.

"so good" is about feeling like you’re meant to be with someone who just walked in the room. it’s about being around someone that just makes your life feel good. it’s about wishing that person was there your whole life, because you didn’t realize how good it could be. here’s hoping you have that someone, or hoping you find them soon.
