Celine Cairo Shares New Single ‘The Fire’

Dutch singer and songwriter Celine Cairo has just shared her brand new single The Fire, an emotional song about struggling with mental health, out now via Ivy Records.

Produced in London with the help of producer Tim Bran (London Grammar, Birdy) and recorded with Celine's long time band in Studio 150 (a church build in the 20's in Amsterdam), The Fire is the third single to be taken from her upcoming sophomore album that is set to arrive in August.

This is such a stunning song on which Celine's stunning vocals instantly draw the listener's attention to her storytelling about her personal battles between darkness and light, of womanhood and her own struggles with mental health. This relatable message flows over sonorous piano melodies that create quite a warm and intimate atmosphere perfect for an introspective day home alone.

Accompanying the release, Celine Cairo has just shared its official music video, directed by Tim Geers, which you can check out below!

Cairo speaks candidly about what depression has taught her,

Patience. To wait for the flame to come back to me instead of chasing it. What you lack when you’re depressed is perspective. I’ve learned to keep going, no matter how I feel. Keep doing the work and the fire I need to fuel me always eventually returns.
