Senses Share New Single ‘When it Rains’

Los Angeles-based alt-rock trio senses, consisting of Madison Taylor (vocals), Nick Sampson (drums), and Josh Bissell (guitar), have just shared their brand new single When it Rains, an anthemic piece of alt-rock music.

I am really enjoying the energy of this song and Madison Taylor's vocals are simply amazing. I am loving how passionate her vocal delivery is and how it beautifully conveys the emotion of their storytelling and effortlessly soars over the high-energy production.

When it Rains is an infectious alt-rock song that addresses some of the difficult issues that may arise from having a relationship in tight quarters, something that became quite common with the pandemic and lockdowns. I am really enjoying the soaring guitars and punchy percussion (especially on the bridge) that give the song that extra dose of energy and make it instantly recognisable and memorable.

Accompanying the release, senses have shared its official music video, directed by Conner Sorenson, which flawlessly matches the song's energy and emotion. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Madison Taylor said,

Sometimes it can feel like when one thing goes wrong, all goes wrong. This is reflected in the core of the song’s lyrics 'why is it that when it rains it always starts to pour.
Senses cultivate a unique pop rock edge by utilizing dark synths, driving guitars, and pounding drums. The band encompasses the true meaning of “belt it out in your car,” priding themselves on their anthemic, relatable songwriting.
