I am a fan of her gorgeous vocals and how they soar quite smoothly over the infectious production until they burst with energy later in the song, showcasing how powerful her vocals are. Calm the Beast is a song about the courage and fear of being unaccepted, coming from not accepting yourself and is wrapped around an enchanting production with indie-rock vibes.
