Laaksonen Shares Debut Single ‘Unlovable’
Laaksonen, the solo project of Finnish singer and songwriter Ville Laaksonen, makes his musical introduction with the release of his debut single Unlovable, an emotive piano-led track.
Inspired by Laaksonen's past relationship, Unlovable shares a reflection on toxic masculinity and contemporary dating app culture. I am really enjoying his powerful, emotive vocal delivery and how it soars over gorgeous piano chords which then turns into an epic string-laden electro pop ballad with a memorable chorus. I am particularly fond of the way the emotive piano chords are beautifully intertwined with lush strings and cool synths which flawlessly enhance the raw emotion of his storytelling.
