Following last month's lovely single Good Plates, Canadian singer and songwriter Michael Bernard Fitzgerald is back with its follow up Heart Of It, taken from his new album Love Valley, out now via Treasure Island Recs / Fontana North.

I am very fond of Michael's distinctive vocals with a captivating rasp and packed with so much emotion, instantly connecting his lovely storytelling with the listener. Heart Of It is a proclamation of simple love, the idea is universal – we can all have that person in our lives that is important to our story while simultaneously being that for them as well. This relatable storytelling is wrapped around a warm and intimate Folk production with intricate acoustic guitar melodies, subtle strings and horns that make it perfect for those laid-back days at home.
