David Lafleche Shares New Single ‘We Collided’

Canadian singer, songwriter guitarist and musical director, David Lafleche has just shared his brand new single We Collided, the first song to be taken from his upcoming debut album set to arrive in 2021.

I am really enjoying David Lafleche's impeccable and soothing vocals and how they soar effortlessly over the warm and intimate folk-country production. I am also very fond of the intricate acoustic guitar melodies and how they are beautifully intertwined with lovely drums, smooth percussion, acoustic bass, electric guitar licks, pedal steel and soft, delicate harmonies.

I am loving how effortless David Lafleche's storytelling is and how his smooth vocals and the production's laid-back atmosphere makes We Collided a great song for a relaxing weekend at home. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, David Lafleche said,

We Collided’s music came through me like a lightning bolt, it felt like an out of body experience. I understand inspiration can come from anything, might it be the time of day, the weather, the person in front of you, or the place you're traveling to. Being away from home, in a city that erupts with musical energy, made me feel free as a bird and unlocked this creative process. Only then did my music start pouring out of me like an unstopping force of nature. I felt at that moment that this was just the start of many ideas to come.
