Alexia Chambi Shares New Single ‘Empty Vase’

Danish-Cypriot singer and songwriter Alexia Chambi has just shared her brand new single Empty Vase, an uplifting piece of neo-soul music about being true to ourselves, loving ourselves especially when single.

I am really enjoying Alexia's lovely, soulful vocals and how they effortlessly convey the emotion of her honest and relatable storytelling. Empty Vase is quite an empowering feminist anthem that shares a message that women don't need a man to be complete and is wrapped around a captivating neo-soul production with an overall feel-good and laid-back atmosphere perfect for a relaxing weekend at home. Speaking about the song, Alexia Chambi said,

Empty Vase is a song I wrote on an acoustic guitar, one cold November evening in London 2 years ago. I’ve often felt as a woman that there is a certain expectation for us to find someone to complete us. A man that can save us from our loneliness, as if life is not being lived to its fullest, unless there’s a man by our side. I reject this pressure from society. Empty Vase is an untraditional love song about being true to yourself and being aware of the love you have in your life, even when you are without a romantic partner.
