FELIN Unveils New Single ‘C19’
Written and produced by Elin Blom during quarantine, C19 was inspired by this current pandemic and shares a message of hope that we're going to get through this. I am loving the dramatic and emotive piano chords that beautifully back Elin's stunning and emotive vocal delivery. I am also really enjoying those lush strings that enhance the emotion of the lyrics and give the song quite a captivating cinematic touch. Check out this gem below!
Speaking about the song, FELIN said,
It’s about the struggle to find the strength to not only get through this but to be able to start over and create something new and better after this time. Hopefully, a more mindful and understanding world. Even though we’re alone right now, we’re alone together.
C19 will be accompanied by a music video, which focuses on two lovers battling the loss of each other - chasing after ghosts and memories of what used to be.
The video is shot in an abandoned cement factory outside of Stockholm and features the two renowned dancers Sophie Flannery Prune Vergères and David Lagerqvist, who is also a couple in real life. The two were trapped in different countries when the virus outbreak hit Europe, not knowing when they would see each other again.
