Davis John Patton Shares New Single ‘I’m Not an Island When I’m Alone’
American singer and songwriter Davis John Patton has just shared his brand new single I’m Not an Island When I’m Alone, taken from his upcoming EP Poetry set to arrive on October 2nd via Nettwerk.

I am really enjoying Davis John Patton's warm, smooth vocals and how they soar beautifully over the polished folk-tinged pop production. I am very fond of how the piano resounds between soft strumming as his gorgeous vocals intricate guitar riffs and stretch from narrative verses into a soft bridge highlighted by nostalgic vignettes. Davis perfectly showcases his stunning vocals and storytelling abilities and if you're into warm and intimate pieces of music with beautiful piano chords, acoustic guitar riffs and an overall feel-good atmosphere, then you'll love this song. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Davis said,
It’s the idea of being comforted by the words of a loved one even when you’re not physically in the same place. There was a summer where my now-wife and then-girlfriend were on opposite sides of the world. It was a great reason to write a love song. I wrote a chorus about ultimately cherishing the times we are in each other’s presence as a way to remember one another when we’re apart.
