Isaac Butler Shares New Single ‘Paranoid’
I am really enjoying the tone of his vocals and how passionate his vocal delivery is in this song, flowing effortlessly over the smooth guitar licks and buoyant summer melodies. Paranoid is a reflective song on which Isaac sings about the breakdown of a romantic relationship. Isaac looks back at that period with peace and has learned to be more aware of what is going on. I think this is quite a relatable song for those that have been lied to by their partners and I really like how Isaac wraps this message with an upbeat and summery atmosphere. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, Isaac said,
‘Paranoid’ … it's exactly that! It’s about a relationship I was in and totally had the feeling I was getting messed around, but constantly being told that nothing was going on. The music makes it feel like a pretty upbeat track but ironically it's a lot more cynical than it sounds. It’s about being at peace with something in my past and using what I learned from it. I like that I’m more aware, getting paranoid is a way for me to step back and suss out the situation.
