Canadian 3-piece pop-rock band New Friends, consisting of Stefan Boulineau, Ayden Miller and Cole Wilson, have just unveiled their brand new single The Way, an infectious song about wishing things were like they used to be within a relationship.
I am really enjoying the song's upbeat atmosphere that is packed with awesome guitar and bass riffs, punchy drums and an overall funky vibe to it. I am also enjoying how the smooth vocals flow effortlessly over the groovy melodies and the chorus is perfect to sing along to. Speaking about the song, the guys said,
"THE WAY" was written during a last-minute weekend songwriting trip in May of 2019. New Friends visited the hometown of their keyboard player and wrote this funktastic' bop in what had to have been 30 minutes or less. There's always beauty in a simple song you can bop your head and sing along to, and "THE WAY" is just that.
