Swedish R&B/pop sensation Molly Hammar is back with another gorgeous single titled Alone, out now via Cosmos Music. Co-written with platinum-selling UK artist Elle Eyre and produced by internationally acclaimed producer Hank Solo (ALMA, Lil Peep), Alone is the first single to be released from Molly’s hotly-anticipated second EP to be released this autumn!
I am a big fan of her smoky vocal and passionate vocal delivery and I am loving how her lovely vocals flow effortlessly over a stripped-back guitar-led intro which slowly reaches a climax of exploding dramatic beats on which she showcases her powerhouse vocals and sings about how it is better to be alone than with the wrong person. I think everyone struggles with loneliness. Sometimes you love it, sometimes you hate it. ‘‘Alone’ is about someone trying to escape loneliness and hurting people along the way. If this song can become a wake-up call for someone to deal with their emotional life better, or if someone can find comfort in gaining some perspective on themself, I have achieved my goal with "Alone”.
