MOLTENO Shares New Single ‘Tripping Up’
London-based atmospheric dream-pop singer and songwriter MOLTENO has just shared her brand new single Tripping Up, her first release of the year which combines elements of alternative R&B, lo-fi and art-pop!
I am really enjoying her smooth vocal delivery and the song's overall laid-back atmosphere that sounds perfect for a relaxing day at home. Tripping Up is a song about toxic relationships and self-destruction and it is wrapped by an infectious production with captivating electronics, groovy guitar riffs and MOLTENO's atmospheric layered vocals. There's also a warm and intimate atmosphere to the song that makes me come back to it over and over again.
Tripping Up is accompanied by a captivating music video, directed by Daisy Moseley, which captures the enchanting rhythm of the song alongside lucid imagery that transitions with fluidity and surrealist takes. The video follows the demise of a young woman, played by Tind Soneby Wäneland, capturing the feeling of being out of one’s depth & out of place. Check it out below!
