Sheffield based musician Mustie has just released his new single 'Fantasma'.

A hip hop track which takes on a whole new dimension of the genre leaving a lot open to the imagination to Mustie's future sound. It's a sharp release with a polished mix which cannot be sniffed at.



Currently based in Yorkshire, Mustie has taken influence from some of the recent greats including FKA Twigs and Crystal Castles but he has crafted something which is unique to himself. Furthermore, 'Fantasma' kicks off quickly with Mustie getting straight to the point vocally. Vocally, he excels and it is the chorus which hooked me in with a synth line sitting firmly on the well-positioned vocal.

I had to double-check the time of the track more than once because it felt short but yet it boasts an honest 3 minutes of play which is standard. Therefore, it must be just me craving more. However, nothing a replay button cannot fix!

Although feeling lonely in the track, I doubt Mustie will be feeling lonely for much longer with hip hop fans far and wide clinging onto this track like a leech.
