Elise Hayes Drops New Single ‘New York City’
After having written several songs on film/tv (Grey's Anatomy, The Bold Type, Siesta Key), Nashville based singer-songwriter Elise Hayes is back with a lovely new single titled New York City.

This new song is about a long distance relationship and is based on real experience, as both Elise and her partner are touring musicians. I am really loving her lush vocal delivery (which is definitely the stand out of the song) and how it soars over the infectious production. The meaningful lyrics are beautifully brought to life thanks to her emotive, rich vocals and the danceable mid-tempo production packed with intricate guitar melodies mixed with cool electronics, dreamy harmonies and a highly addictive pop hook. New York City was written and produced by Elise and Sony ATV songwriter, Danielle Blakey, in Nashville and you can check it out below.



Speaking about the song Elise said,
This song is a true story. In my own relationship, we are both touring constantly. I have a fierce desire to be independent, but missing someone makes you so vulnerable at the same time. Sometimes you’ll fly to New York City on a whim, or do something out of the blue just because you miss your person.
