Zoe Brush Unveils Debut Single ‘Kites’
Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter Zoe Brush has just unveiled her solo debut single Kites, taken from her upcoming EP, Trust Fall, set to arrive in early August.
Kites follows Stand Still her collaborative single with her co-writer Garbeil Broussard and it is as magical as its predecessor. I am loving the emotive piano keys and the song's melancholic touch is really up my alley. I can't get enough of piano-based melodies and lush vocals and as soon as I heard those delicate piano keys I knew I was in for a treat! The lush strings enhance the emotion of the lyrics and imbues the song with a magical atmosphere that is extremely captivating! Her haunting harmonies are very soothing and ethereal and just make the song stand out even more! There's also a cinematic vibe in this song that makes me think it would be great for a soundtrack of a movie! Have a listen to this chill-inducing track below!

Kites came to me when I needed it most. I'd been trying to find a way to describe the emotions I felt surrounding a breakup that was more than two years ago and, after finding out recently that he had been planning on proposing to me the weekend after I broke up with him, the moment finally came. I find myself crying in joy and in pain every time I play it again because it so perfectly encapsulates every ache I felt during and after my relationship ended.
