Time to get your funk on! Canadian duo Neon Valley have just released their debut single Valley Girl. I am LOVING this song guys! The retro vibe of the song is what drew me towards the song. Valley Girl is packed with funky guitar riffs, vintage synths, groovy rhythms and an overall feel-good atmosphere. The vocals add a smoothness to the disco-tinged production and there are parts of the song that remind me of Chromeo and Daft Punk, so if you are a fan of these acts you will love Valley Girl.
To accompany the release the duo unveiled an animated lyric video which was directed by Sound Visuals Club while the illustration was made by Viviane Siegert and focuses on the 80s glitzy imagery. Watch it below and let the funk take you on a journey!
