Jonathan Higgs' vocals. This is a stunning piece of alternative pop music with glitchy drums and cool synths but the star of the song has to be his lush vocals. I like how his falsetto flows over the synths and I am loving the part with the soaring guitar. The chorus is stuck in my head for the rest of the weekend! Stream it below!
When describing the inspiration behind the song, SKOLES says,
When something is over that you’ve been trying to keep alive for a long time, there’s always this sense of ‘I could have handled myself so much better.’ I felt like I’d hurt a lot of people all at once, and it all got a bit much. I wanted to write something totally honest about that part of my life. It was really sh*t.
