Banfi Premiere ‘Rosedale House’ Music Video

Banfi have premiered the official music video for their new single Rosedale House. Directed by Jake Dypka, the lo-fi LED-lead video follows the band on a drive through London via the shores of Camber Sands and back, whilst being swept up in the song’s electrifying guitar twangs and jarring synth lines. The video takes us on a nostalgic journey from ‘Rosedale House’, lead singer Joe Banfi’s old council flat to Dungeness in Kent, which with its extraordinary landscape has become a sentimental spiritual home for the band. Jake Dypka works closely with the trio, overseeing all artwork, videos and photography. Explaining the shoot Jake says
We attached my Sony A7 to the back with a car mount and rigged the LED behind the seats. Rosedale House is an actual place in London so the video starts there, we drive directly south with some detours on the way. We were very reliant on the weather for the entire shoot and got really lucky with the sunset, it’s a definite highlight of the video.

This year will also see the band embarking on a European and UK tour with fellow Communion act Bear’s Den alongside a stint of festival slots at Outlines Festival, Dot To Dot and Y Not? festival.
