KYOTI Premiere 'Curved Edge Straight Line' Video
London-based art-pop project KYOTI have premiered the visuals for their new single called Curved Edge Straight Line. This is such a smooth, infectious tune with an introspective vibe and blending jazz and electronica. It explores the theme of dependency on both substances and other people. As the band put it themselves,
Curved Edge, Straight Line is a song about searching for forgiveness from those close to you, while accepting your own faults.” The track is as musically grounding as it is thematically, with minimalist beats and a steady rhythm that rumbles away into a swell of cascading synths and keyboards.

In director Daisy Finetto's words:
I went to Filippo Minelli’s smoke performance at Somerset House and fell in love with coloured smoke. KYOTI frame graphics in interesting ways on their artwork so we wanted to incorporate that in some way, too. Paired with body parts, strobe lights and slow motion, it quickly became an accumulation of everything I have been wanting to do for a while and the groove of the track lent itself to our vision perfectly.
