V Festival 2016, has today announced the addition of Pop Icon and multi-million selling artist Rick Astley, to its phenomenal line up for the upcoming festival weekend, on August 20th-21st 2016.
Rapidly becoming one of this summer’s hottest festivals, with superstar line up featuring; Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Sia, Little Mix and Rita Ora the latest addition to the bill is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
After leaving his mark on pop culture in the 80s, Rick Astley is set to make his debut at V Festival this summer. With over 19 million records sold and a catalogue of chart topping hits such as ‘Never Gonna Give You Up´, ‘Cry for Help’ and ‘Together Forever’, Rick Astley will be revisiting pop classics as well as material from his highly anticipated new album, 50 due for release in June which features acclaimed lead single ‘Keep Singing’.
Rick Astley will be joininga huge line up of artists including; Faithless, David Guetta, Jess Glynne, Tinie Tempah, Kaiser Chiefs and Bastille, for what is set to be the party of the summer.
The festival will take place across Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire, on the weekend of August 20th-21st 2016.
